What’s Big in Materials for 2019

Fencing materials are becoming more and more diverse, and we are always excited to see what new trends hit the market.

2019 looks like it will be marked by environmental and safety innovation; here are the trends that are on our radar as we anticipate the coming year:

Fencing

Bamboo

The beauty and simplicity of bamboo wood makes it a great choice for fencing. Besides it being aesthetically pleasing, it is also durable and easy to install. This is a great environmentally friendly choice because bamboo is actually part of the grass family; it is one of the fastest growing plants on the earth!

Natural Fences

Natural fences are also known as woven hurdles because the wood is woven to create a fence. This type of fencing is reminiscent of the European countryside. Natural fences are extremely durable because of their strength and functionality: the natural gaps in the woven fence allow wind to pass through, which is very important in places that see high wind.

Woven hurdles are time-consuming to create and install, but the end result can be seen in the unique, woven beauty.

Composite Fencing

Composite fences are a blend of recycled wood and plastic. Composite fences have the look of a real wood fence while also remaining environmentally conscious; they even qualify for LEED points.
